Madden NFL 25 Patch Details
Tracking behind the support of previous years, and facing criticism for that as the focus shifts towards the next-gen debut, EA Sports today confirmed a patch release is nearing for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Madden NFL 25.
Details on what to expect have been provided and include some fixes to gameplay, Ultimate Team, and Connected Franchise – unfortunately however it doesn’t appear to be nearly as extensive an update as those completed for past games. Read more

More on Dribbling Moves in NBA Live 14
EA Sports today released more details on the advancements made to dribbling for NBA Live 14. The game will have three levels of moves ranging from the basic to the signature moves of over 50 players. Rewind Returns in NBA Live 14
Though many of the features for NBA Live 14 have still yet to be revealed the current retailer product description does confirm the return of one that first debuted in NBA Live 09. NBA Rewind – which allows for playing the games of the day in the league as well as those already completed earlier in the season with true to the time rosters and ratings – is back along with a new component called  “BIG moments” which are more focused challenges.
Live Season: Experience the NBA season as it happens. Take on quick challenges based on each day’s most memorable performances in BIG moments, or play your favorite team’s schedule right alongside them with real-world performance data in NBA Rewind. Can you replicate the feats of the NBA’s biggest stars? Can you shut down your opponent’s star player on his hottest night of the year? See where you stack up on each challenge’s leaderboard both amongst your friends and against NBA LIVE 14 fans from around the world every day throughout the season.
Dynamic Season and NBA Rewind were never officially announced for either NBA Elite 11 or NBA Live 13 after appearing in Live 09 and 10. Also mentioned in the feature descriptions are that Ultimate Team will include legends which has been expected ever since early this summer when legends were confirmed to be part of the product. More on Ultimate Team was scheduled to be released on Monday but instead has been pushed back to next week.

First Roster Update for NHL 14
Three weeks now into the season and NHL 14 has received its first roster update. In an effort to address a deficiency of the series “Dynamic Ratings” have debuted which should mean more frequent roster updates while also including hot or cold streak player designation. Madden NFL 25 Week Seven Upcoming Roster Update Discussion
Week seven of the NFL season was a terrible one for injuries as the season has ended for Reggie Wayne, Leon Hall, Brian Cushing, Sam Bradford, and Doug Martin. Also out for an extended period of time are Jay Cutler, Lance Briggs, and Jermichael Finley. Returning to action were Rob Gronkowski and Von Miller while Bryant McKinnie has since been traded to the Dolphins.
Among those who turned in big performances were Andy Dalton, Case Keenum, Jason Hatcher, Muhammed Wilkerson, Chris Clemons, Lavonte David, Sean Lee, Vontae Davis, and Brandon Browner. Some of those coming up short included Tom Brady, Brandon Weeden, Josh Freeman, Nick Foles, Trent Richardson, Bradley Sowell, Tyson Clabo, and Janoris Jenkins.

Latest Next-Gen Madden NFL 25 Q&A Focuses on Improvements to Blocking and Pass Rush
EA Sports today held their second Q&A on Twitter relating to next-gen Madden NFL 25, this time with responses behind handled by gameplay designer Clint Oldenburg who has led the effort to dramatically improve the play in the trenches. Late last week descriptions of what has been worked on with respect to blocking and pass rush accompanied a few video examples from gameplay and proved to be the most effective display of how next-gen will stand out compared to the product already on the market provided by the company so far.
The latest Q&A touches on subjects that include how much player ratings will actually matter for offensive and defensive lineman, the frequency of penalties, the formation of the pocket, and how the pass rush will in turn help the secondary. Read more

Patch for Madden NFL 25 Still Yet to Arrive
It’s now past mid-October and EA Sports has yet to release a patch for Madden NFL 25. This is a significant milestone because of when patches have historically been released for Madden. NHL 14 has received a big patch and that game released two weeks after Madden while FIFA 14 already has two despite releasing in late September. Read more
