EA Responds to NBA Live 14 Feedback
In an unprecedented move the executive producer of NBA Live 14 has come out to publicly apologize for its deficiencies just days after release of the game. Sean O’Brien has posted a letter to consumers regarding response to the game’s launch and plans on improving it.
I’m not going to lie; it’s been a rough week. As you can imagine, this isn’t exactly the NBA LIVE comeback story we were hoping for this year. We hear loud and clear that some of you are disappointed in various aspects of NBA LIVE 14, and I’m sorry if the game doesn’t live up to your expectations. Looking at your feedback, we have laid out a plan to make NBA LIVE 14 a better game as quickly as we can.

Press Row Podcast: First Impressions of the Next-Gen Sports Games

Now The NCAA is Suing EA
Electronic Arts’ legal troubles relating to the alleged use of player likenesses in college football and basketball video games did not come to an end with the settlement in the Ed O’Bannon led lawsuit. The NCAA is now challenging the company, along with the CLC, regarding the $40 million settlement they reached in late September. Read more

Finals in the Best Sports Game of the Generation Tournament
What began with 64 games has been whittled down to the final two. NBA 2K11 will take on MLB 13: The Show for the title of Best Sports Game of the Generation! The full bracket and results of the tournament can be viewed here.
With over 9K votes cast in the semifinal round, NBA 2K11 prevailed over NBA 2K13 with 57% of the returns, while MLB 13 knocked off FIFA 12 by drawing 61% of the vote.Â
