With MLB 14: The Show arriving on Tuesday for the PS3 and Vita this extended segment from the latest Press Row Hangout includes some of the hottest topics related to the game as it heads into its release. The decision not to release a demo on the PS3, the lack of any “trade-up” promotion for those with both the PS3 and PS4, and initial assessments of the Quick Counts feature after seeing it in action are all discussed.

This is likely intended to rectify potentially accelerated pitch count numbers due to the lack of first pitch outs (there are no 0-0 counts) when utilizing the feature. Read more
At last June’s E3 eight core gameplay features were revealed by EA Sports for their first UFC title. Quite a lot of time passed – understandable given there was about a year until expected release at that point – before the company followed up with some more significant news on the game. A trailer was recently released going over many of those same concepts and now more detailed descriptions of those areas have been provided. Read more
Earlier this month EA Sports released descriptions of the six central modes featured in 2014 FIFA World Cup. The company has now followed that up with a trailer that puts them in the spotlight. Release of the game on Xbox 360 and PS3 is now just under three weeks away.
