2K Sports has pushed live another patch for NBA 2K19 across all platforms. It’s the fourth update of considerable substance for the game, bringing updated courts to ongoing careers (uniforms were added in a previous patch), removing pushing from neighborhood games, making a few other adjustments to gameplay, and updating the likeness for six players. Read more

NHL 19 gameplay updated based on recent feedback from rollback
Earlier this month EA Sports made a radical decision to turn back all the gameplay changes that had been made post-release in NHL 19, starting fresh from where the game began following its pre-release beta. After collecting consumer feedback for weeks based on that much earlier gameplay the developers have finalized adjustments that have been delivered through a tuner update that went live this morning. Details on the latest patch for FIFA 19
Another significant title update has arrived for FIFA 19, with it available now on PC and in the coming days on XB1 and PS4. Even here, well into January, EA Sports is making considerable adjustments based on feedback to fundamental aspects of gameplay. This time those include more improvements to determining the success of shots on goal, changes to goalkeeper movement, as well as a critical Career Mode fix. Read more

End of Year Community Awards: Best New Feature of 2018
With 2018 having come to a close it’s time to look back on the developments that have taken place in sports gaming and acknowledge the various efforts that have been made in the genre with the 10th Annual Pastapadre Community Awards. You can check out all of the PCA winners from previous years here.
The categories will include Sports Game of the Year, Best New or Non-Yearly Sports Game, Best Mobile Game, Best Racing Game, Best Gameplay, Best Online Play, Best Presentation, Best Franchise Mode, Best Career Mode, Best Post-Release Support, Best New Feature, and Best Team-Building Mode. All winners will be announced next week!
Now the award for Best New Feature. MLB The Show, Madden, NBA 2K, and NHL have all won previously in this category. This year there are five nominees: Custom Draft Classes from Madden NFL 19, Batting Stance Creator from MLB The Show 18, Champions League integration in FIFA 19, Dynamic Tactics also from FIFA 19, and Fog of War scouting from NHL 19.
