Madden NFL 15 Opening Week Roster and Tuning Update Available Now
On Friday EA Sports deployed the latest roster update for Madden NFL 15 coinciding with the start of the regular season. This one is always an especially important update as it attempts to provide the accurate 53 man rosters and depth charts. It’s also one of the few rosters that can be chosen when starting new franchises (in addition to pre-season rosters and any custom rosters). The company has yet to provide the full list of details but that spreadsheet will be added here if/when it goes out.
Keep in mind the player ratings will change when transferred into a franchise. This continues to be an area of confusion for many, and even has us scratching our own heads in the Press Row Madden league with how many players have seemingly plummeted for no particular reason. Offensive lineman especially look to be low across the board. It is supposed to be based on how well a player fits into a particular team’s schemes, but one would think if they’re already on the team they shouldn’t be that far off from their base rating. It would seem though the change only affects the overall rating and not their individual ratings which is what really matters in the end.
The roster was accompanied by a “Tuning Data Update”. These tuning updates deliver balancing adjustments to gameplay without having to wait for a patch. In the past the feature has been largely ineffective or even damaged the games they were utilized in more than helped them but they have rarely been seen in Madden. This particular tuner is said to affect pass rush effectiveness but in what ways remains unclear.

NBA 2K15 MyGM Mode Details
One month ago 2K Sports announced a new highly-customizable offline association mode known as MyLeague for NBA 2K15. Now the company is talking about its carry-over MyGM mode which replaced the more traditional association mode last year by attempting to add more life to the management duties but stumbled with the misguided implementation of Virtual Currency that hampered the experience all throughout 2K14.
Big changes are in store with 2K15 and none less crucial than the reduction of the role VC plays in the mode. Game Informer has a detailed breakdown of what is changing and being improved upon. While optional bonuses will be obtainable with VC the backbone of the mode instead is on a new XP system. Other significant improvements relate to the “conversation system”, scouting, and player progression.

NHL 15 Six Hour Trial Now Accessible Through EA Access
NHL 15Â through EA Access on Xbox One is now available to download as a timed trial. Subscribers to the service will get six hours of play time before it expires with the timer ticking down whenever the game is loaded regardless of whether it is being played, menus are being navigated through, or if there is any activity taking place at all. So make sure to exit out and close the application from the Xbox One home screen when not in use.
The trial will expire on Tuesday regardless of whether the six hours have been used when a full copy will be required to continue playing. Game saves are stored on the hard drive so progress in Be a GM, Be a Pro, Ultimate Team or any other modes will carry over. The complete game is accessible during the trial period.
EA Access was announced in late July and is exclusive to the Xbox One only because Sony has declined to offer the service through PlayStation 4. It includes the “Vault” which offers unlimited play with some older games from the company’s catalog, 10% off all digital purchases, and the ability to play games up to five days before they release for a limited timed trial. EA Access is $30 for a full year or $5 month-to-month.

A Look at What The Superstar Skill Stick Can Do in NHL 15
EA Sports has released a new video showcasing the Superstar Skill Stick in NHL 15. The goal has been to make the right stick control easy to use but have depth that will allow experienced players to take advantage of an arsenal of moves.
The revolutionary Skill Stick has evolved to give even more control to the player, featuring an intuitive right stick control scheme that is easy to use but also packed with depth. The all-new Superstar Skill Stick allows for complete fluidity when stickhandling, giving incredible control with the right analog stick.
Use the Superstar Skill Stick with the right analog stick and True Performance Skating with the left to combine dekes and skating movement together. The left and right stick now act independently, allowing for more moves to embarrass the opposition.
