With under a week until release 2K Sports has finally introduced a look at improvements to The Park, the online mode introduced in Xbox One and PS4 2K14, now branded as MyPark in NBA 2K15. The trailer doesn’t go into great detail but does mention earning “Rep” and the ability to play with friends as “Squads”. There’s the “Jordan Rec Center” where games become 5v5 with four quarters and NBA rules – partially replicating the “Crew” mode so many desired. Also at the end is a tease of “The Stage” which will be exclusive to the PS4 for the first month before being opened on XB1 on 11/7 and looks as though you’ll be able to wager VC on games there.
With NBA 2K15 out next week naturally a lot of the recent news has been concentrated on the game. In today’s Daily Dish the focus centers on the player ratings for NBA 2K15 now known for the entire league and the odd marketing strategy that has left several modes shrouded in mystery even still. There’s also a look ahead to the next Madden NFL 15 roster update and a reminder to get entries in for the NBA 2K15 giveaway.

It took over three weeks to do so but 2K Sports has finally finished revealing all the overall player ratings for NBA 2K15. Only one of the four players to be rated 90+ wasn’t confirmed until now and as expected it’s Chris Paul who comes in at 91. He joins LeBron James (98), Kevin Durant (95), and Tim Duncan (90) in that elite group.
Six players follow at 89 overall including Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love. Continue on to check out all the overall ratings in the base roster of NBA 2K15! Read more
EA Sports should really just name J.J. Watt as the Madden NFL 16 cover athlete. No need to go through a charade like the voting process was for Richard Sherman on Madden 15. No one is impacting the NFL like Watt is right now.
One change at QB coming this week as the Bills sit E.J. Manuel in favor of Kyle Orton. We’re almost now to the point in the season where teams should get some upgrade or downgrade consideration as entire units based on performance compared to expectations rather than just singling out a few players here and there.
In this week’s Madden NFL 15 roster update look for Philip Rivers, Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, Eli Manning, DeMarco Murray, Larry Donnell, Martellus Bennett, Travis Kelce, Steve Smith, Jarius Wright, Robert Ayers, C.J. Mosley, and Malcolm Jenkins to rise. Names likely to fall include Kirk Cousins, E.J. Manuel, Nick Foles, Tom Brady, Geno Smith, LeSean McCoy, Riley Cooper, Sammy Watkins, Kenny Vaccaro, and Jairus Byrd.
For the first time in a very long time there was nothing newsworthy to write about today (that shouldn’t be the case throughout this week with NBA 2K15 still to announce features) so I tackle a few different topics with The Daily Dish. NBA 2K15 won’t have its servers turned on until next Tuesday and that’s reason for some concern, discussion has again been raised over how to best implement penalties in Madden, more top player ratings are out for NBA Live 15, and a reminder to enter in the NBA 2K15 giveaway!
