The roster update that follows week 11 of the season is available now for Madden NFL 15 on all systems. Just over two weeks ago EA Sports released the first roster update for NBA Live 15 after having let the first week of the season pass without one. Now a second update has gone out for the game and this one includes the first changes to player ratings.

There isn’t much in the way of overall ratings movement. Dwight Howard rises a point to 91 and Anthony Davis to 90. Chris Paul drops a point to 93 and Carmelo Anthony to 91. Otherwise the update seems to address specific attribute categories which didn’t budge many overalls.

Check out all the changes made in this NBA Live 15 roster update with the spreadsheet here. It hasn’t been made easy to understand what ratings have been altered however. The tabs on the bottom provide different update information.

Accompanying the roster update is the addition of a single jersey. The Boston Celtics now have their sleeved gray “Parquet Pride” jersey which will be worn six times this season with the debut on November 28th against the Bulls.

A fifth patch arrived today for EA Sports UFC. Unlike the previous four this one does not include any sweeping changes to gameplay or various other improvements. It’s essentially just the 3 additions to the roster bringing the total fighters that have been added post-release to 14.

Myles Jury (lightweight), Yoel Romero (middleweight), and Andrei Arlovski (heavyweight) have been introduced in the latest update. They’re rated 91, 89, and 89 respectively. Those numbers don’t tell you much though since most fighters in the game are rated high-80s or in the 90s.

EA Sports UFC has been available for $30 for over a month now. There’s value at that price but expect to see it drop to $15-20 on Black Friday so it may be worth waiting for and picking up then for those with any interest in the game.

It appears to be inevitable that one day, sooner rather than later, EA Sports will break the Ultimate Team modes out of their respective products and offer them as free-to-play on consoles. They’re making hundreds of millions on Ultimate Team with a $60 barrier that limits its reach. How much could they make if everyone with a console had access to play?  Read more

It was a down week for quarterbacks particularly when compared to the astonishing numbers that some had been putting up in games as of late. Few would be justified for boosts in the next Madden NFL 15 roster update while many are in line to receive decreases. Peyton Manning has thrown six picks in the last three games so he’ll almost certainly lose the 99 overall rating he was given last month. It’ll also be interesting to see if EA removes Adrian Peterson from the game now that he’s been officially suspended for at least the remainder of this season.

Those likely to rise include Jonas Gray (who’s not even on the roster right now!), Jamaal Charles, Le’Veon Bell, Mike Evans, Chase Coffman, Everson Griffen, Carlos Dunlap, Dan Williams, DeAndre Levy, Chris Borland, Johnathan Joseph, Reshad Jones, and TJ McDonald.

Among those in line to fall are both Peyton and Eli Manning, Kyle Orton, Mark Sanchez, Matt Stafford, Robert Griffin III, Brian Hoyer, Trent Richardson, D’Qwell Jackson, Bradley Fletcher, and Bashaud Breeland.
