With Thanksgiving this week it’s unclear if there will be the usual Madden roster update to come. In the past updates have often been skipped due to the holiday with a larger one encompassing two weeks of performances the next time around.
Based on week 12 names to expect a rise in ratings for include Ryan Tannehill, Latavius Murray, Justin Forsett, C.J. Anderson, Eddie Lacy, Cowboys offensive line, Odell Beckham Jr., Josh Gordon, Calais Campbell, Aaron Donald, Stephen Paea, Dont’a Hightower, Justin Houston, Rolando McClain, Bobby Wagner, and Will Hill. A few that will likely drop are Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Mallett, Greg Robinson, Taylor Lewan, Evan Dietrich-Smith, and Randy Starks.
With just five games remaining in the season what players would you like to see receive a boost or face a decline in ratings in Madden NFL 15? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

A second patch is available now for Madden NFL 15 on PlayStation 4 and will be later today for Xbox One. It’s not nearly as significant as the one released in early October however.
♦Fixed exploit where users were able to consistently block FGs and XPs.
♦Fixed an online grief caused by custom playbooks.
♦Made improvements to Eagles uniforms.
♦Added authentic patches to jerseys for Bucs, Raiders, Lions, Bills, Jaguars.
♦Updated suggested play calls for CoachGlass.
Something not mentioned but that could be related to this patch is the free player likeness DLC that went out early three weeks ago. There were some issues with it, and it’s possible it was pulled because it required this patch to go out first. If it shows back up tomorrow that could explain why it was pulled then and held back.
Back in September it was discovered that the two MLS teams set to debut next season would be added to FIFA 15 in an update set for this month. That full update hasn’t happened but elements of the two teams have already made it into the game through Ultimate Team.
Home and away kits are available to acquire in the mode. The items are visible through the web app but not in the actual game as of yet where they are displayed in blank fashion. This is notable because only two of the four kits (the home sets) been publicly revealed. Read more

It was a relatively light week for NBA 2K15 roster updates at least compared to the near daily basis they were being delivered since the beginning of the season. The drop-off for this span was notable with adjustments to only 69 players after altering 229 through the first two weeks. Accessories and rotations were changed as well in the four days that did receive updates. Check out full details on overall and individual attribute changes in the spreadsheet here.
Anthony Davis continues to surge upwards and has now reached 92 overall due to a ton of positive movement to various attributes. Carmelo Anthony is back up to 90 and DeMarcus Cousins is only a point away from getting there now.
Other significant moves were made with John Wall who goes up a point to 87 as does Kyrie Irving to 87 and Jimmy Butler to 82. Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Lance Stephenson, and Serge Ibaka take the biggest hits for those sliding downward along with rookies Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, Doug McDermott, and Shabazz Napier.
[UPDATE: Now Expired] Amazon has the games for $30 as lightning deals until about 5:10 ET. Madden, FIFA, NBA 2K15, Watch Dogs, and The Evil Within all for $30 XB1/PS4.
Retailer advertisements that went out revealed some of the big gaming deals that will be available on Black Friday. Walmart has jumped out in front of the action though by price-matching some of the deals that will be offered by Best Buy on individual games early.
Among them are FIFA 15, NBA 2K15, and Madden NFL 15. All three are available for $30 on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. They’re joined by Watch Dogs and The Evil Within for the same price on PS4/XB1.
*Currently FIFA 15 on PS4 and NBA 2K15 on Xbox One are the only of the sports games that have not gone out of stock online. Will update as others return or temporarily sell out.
The prices are active for purchases both through the website and in-store (since they match the site). Shipping isn’t free but it is to have it arranged for in-store pickup. Supply could run out so grab any you want before then! Amazon is expected to match the prices as lightning deals next week along with Best Buy having them available then so if you miss out those opportunities are right around the corner.
In today’s episode of The Daily Dish nominees have been announced for “The Game Awards” and only two two sports games received acknowledgment, the latest Madden NFL 15 roster update is out, and a new NBA Live 15 update added the alternate jersey for the Celtics.
