End of Year Community Awards: Best Career Mode of 2014
The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with the Best Career Mode opening up today. Past winners have alternated between NBA 2K (2010, 2012) and The Show (2011, 2013).
It’s the only original Community Awards category that doesn’t even have three viable candidates this year. There are two standouts and those are NBA 2K15 and MLB 14: The Show. MyCareer is a completely unique story-based experience while Road to the Show offers the more traditional straight-forward Career mode path. Read more

The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with today Best Franchise Mode opening up. This is a category that has been dominated by the Madden NFL series which is looking for its fourth straight victory.
Some of its usual competition has fallen out of the running. NCAA Football, the only other series to win the award, is no longer being made and NHL dug its own grave this year. Taking their place are FIFA 15 and NBA 2K15. Read more

Second Patch for NBA 2K15 Finally Arrives on Xbox One
Over two weeks have passed since the second post-release patch for NBA 2K15 went out for PlayStation 4 and PC yet it took until today for it to make its way to the Xbox One.
Communication was scarce over the period and the delay may suggest that it was actually rejected and resubmitted at some point or Microsoft simply has a huge backlog they’re working through. 2K could have updated fans on its status but chose not to do so. Regardless now those on Xbox One who were frustrated over the period have resolution.
This patch is the big one that incorporates consumer feedback for improvements to just about every mode and has widely been received in a positive manner. Check out the complete list of changes made in the update in the earlier post.

Madden NFL 15 Week 16 Upcoming Roster Update Discussion
Heading into the final week of the NFL season one playoff spot remains in both the AFC and NFC. There has to be a champion from the NFC South while a Wild Card spot is still uncertain in the AFC. The Patriots have locked up the #1 seed and the Seahawks will do the same with a win over the Rams on Sunday.
Names on the rise in this week’s roster update for Madden NFL 15 will include Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Teddy Bridgewater, Jonathan Stewart, Odell Beckham Jr., Luke Willson, Zach Ertz, Cameron Heyward, Stephen Paea, Kareem Jackson, Dre’ Kirkpatrick, and Morgan Burnett.
Among those that can be expected to fall are Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Roddy White, Larry Foote, Dominic Raiola, Melvin Ingram, Aldon Smith, Bradley Fletcher, Brent Grimes, Keenan Lewis, Michael Griffin, Patrick Peterson, and Rashad Johnson.
