The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Best New Feature. Development focus has shifted in recent years from providing innovative features to creating content for Ultimate Team modes along more avenues to generate digital revenue. Despite that there were a few new features this year which deserve recognition over others.

Previous winners of Best New Feature include Postseason Mode (MLB 13), Connected Careers (Madden 13), NBA’s Greatest (NBA 2K12), and The Jordan Challenge (NBA 2K11). There are four nominees to choose from that debuted in 2014 and they come out of The Golf Club, MLB 14, NBA 2K15, and Super Mega Baseball.  Read more

The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Best Post-Release Support. This is a new category for the Community Awards. In the past post-release support has been factored into rankings but has never been singled out for recognition.

There were some strong efforts from developers to not just fix issues but improve and provide new content this year. The three earning nominations are The Golf Club, EA Sports UFC, and Madden NFL 15. Read more

  • Madden NFL 15 Week 17 Upcoming Roster Update Discussion

    madden15dez1230

There was no Madden NFL 15 roster update last week due to Christmas but one is expected within the next few days that will factor in both week 16 and 17 performances. Heading into the playoffs, where those teams will continue to be updated, this could represent even more than just two weeks and attempt to adjust players who have drastically over or underperformed over the course of the season and maybe teams as a whole as well.

Big week 17 performances are likely to help Teddy Bridgewater, Geno Smith, Lamar Miller, Justin Forsett, Eric Decker, Michael Floyd, Odell Beckham Jr., Dez Bryant, Antonio Brown, Tyron Smith, Derek Newton, Aaron Donald, Jarius Wynn, Jordan Hill, Star Lotulelei, Jonathan Newsome, Justin Houston, Audie Cole, and Earl Thomas.

Headed downward you’ll likely see Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, Mark Sanchez, Robert Griffin III, Marquise Lee, Cordarrelle Patterson, Jimmy Graham, Ja’Wuan James, Justin Blalock, Arthur Jones, Chris Owens, Janoris Jenkins, and Antrel Rolle.

Who would you like to see adjusted in Madden NFL 15, whether it’s up or down, with the regular season now complete?

The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Most Disappointing Sports Game. It’s the only recognition from the awards that no game would want but several candidates can’t avoid.

Previous “winners” – or losers I suppose – have been NBA 2K14, NCAA Football 13, NCAA Football 12, and Madden NFL 11. This year three titles really stand out from the crowd unfortunately. NHL 15, EA Sports UFC, and RBI Baseball 14.  Read more
