While several other recently released games have been available at a discount the first significant deal for NHL 16 has been offered up today by Amazon. The game is available for $40 on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as “Legacy Edition” on 360 and PS3.
The deal is only valid through the end of the day and could expire even earlier should supply be exhausted. NHL 16 will likely be offered for $25-30 in late November for Black Friday, but this very well may be the best opportunity to get the game at a discount until then.
The first patch for NBA 2K16 arrived today on PlayStation 4 and is expected on Xbox One soon. The update’s focus is heavily on getting the 2K Pro-Am to work. Rocket League has proven to be an extraordinary success story. One of the best games of the year – something many people were able to get for free – has continued on its unprecedented roll by releasing regular downloadable content.
Tomorrow the “Revenge of the Battle-Cars Pack” is due to go out. Then on the 18th some free Halloween-themed items are being added. The most exciting news however came today.
Developer Psyonix has announced that a “Back to the Future Car Pack” will be out on Wednesday, October 21. The date happens to be the very same one that is traveled to in Back to the Future II. It’s unclear still whether the pack will include more than just the DeLorean, but it will be available to download for only $2.
