The odds-on favorite to get the cover of EA Sports UFC 2 was always going to be Ronda Rousey, so when the company scheduled the announcement for today it made it obvious that very news was going to be made official. Rousey is set to defend her title tomorrow night at UFC 193 and has been revealed as one of two cover athletes for the game. The second individual, which could be Conor McGregor, will be named at a later date.
Rousey has become the most marketable fighter alive today. It’s not just in the octagon – where her dominance is unmatched – but her presence in the entertainment industry expands significantly the reach she offers as a promotional partner.
EA Sports UFC 2 is set to release spring 2016 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Features include a “Knockout Physics System” and Ultimate Team.

On Monday Microsoft revealed the list of backwards compatible 360 titles for Xbox One. As expected there was very little representation from the sports genre with only NBA Jam: On Fire Edition included. Today the backwards compatibility has been activated along with the significant “New Xbox One Experience” console update.
Other features introduced with the update include a new home screen, guide, community section and store, plus avatars, the ability to remap buttons on the controller, and more!
Games that were owned digitally on 360 that are among the backwards compatible titles should appear automatically in the games collection to be downloaded, while those owned on disc can now be inserted and installed on the system.
