EA Sports has already revealed the fighter ratings in UFC 2 for both the stand-up and the clinch. The third pillar, the ground game, is the next to be brought into focus.
Fittingly the legend that is Royce Gracie tops the roster in the category with a rating of 97. Demetrius Johnson and Demian Maia come in at 95 with five other fighters at 94. The lowest rating is 78 which is shared by Tim Means and Pat Berry. For the women only two come in above 90, with Ronda Rousey at 93 and Claudia Gadelha at 92. Read more

Yesterday the reveal of fighter ratings for EA Sports UFC 2 began with a look at the Stand-Up ratings for the entire roster of over 250 fighters. Today attention turns to the Clinch ratings.
Leading the way is light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at 98. He’s followed closely behind by Khabib Nurmagomedov at 97 and three fighters tied at a rating of 95. CM Punk avoids being the lowest rated in this category coming in at 78, with Thiago Alves and Pat Berry at the bottom with ratings of 76. For the women it’s Ronda Rousey with the high rating of 96, while bantamweight champion Holly Holm is right on her heels at 94. Read more
The cycle through all the improvements and additions to MLB The Show 16 continues this week having finally reached Franchise Mode. Stat tracking now includes more categories, such as WAR and FIP, and are kept throughout the careers of the players. Player Morale and personality will affect performance, preferences are in place for free agents when considering contracts from teams, and there are new screens for contract negotiations and the breakdown of the budget.
With just over a week until EA Sports UFC 2 has its trial go out through EA Access the publisher has started to release fighter ratings. With a roster that consists of over 250 fighters there will be a lot to learn, and it’ll be done more through the individual attributes than the “Overall” rating. Considering the vast majority of fighters will fall between a very general 85 and 95 on that scale there’s more to mine from the skill categories, even though they’re scaled the same way, in better defining how they’ll actually perform in the octagon.
Leading the way in Stand-Up is featherweight champion Conor McGregor as the only fighter to receive a 99 rating in the category. Demetrius Johnson, Luke Rockhold, and Bruce Lee trail close behind at 97. The lowest rated is someone who’s never fought before, Phil “CM Punk” Brooks, and even he’s managed an 80. For the women it’s the two champions, Joanna Jedrzejczyk (98) and Holly Holm (97), on top of the category. Mike Tyson’s ratings are apparently being held back to a later date or to be discovered in the game. Read more
While 2K Sports tries to figure out what to do with Stephen Curry, which has proven to be a real dilemma for the developers, the regular roster updates for the game have continued with ratings adjustments taking place for players across the league.
Aaron Gordon, who wowed at the Dunk Contest a couple weeks ago, received a 10 point upgrade in the Driving Dunk attribute. Prior to the update he had been rated in a tie with 15 other players as just the 17th best dunker in the game. At a rating of 95 he now trails only the back-to-back Dunk Contest Champion Zach LaVine in the category.
Other notable movement in the latest update includes Damian Lillard (+2 to 89), Paul George (+1 to 89), Andre Drummond (+1 to 88), Hassan Whiteside (+1 to 85), Pau Gasol (-1 to 85), C.J. McCollum (+1 to 84), LaMarcus Aldridge (-1 to 84), Tim Duncan (-1 to 82), Greg Monroe (-2 to 81), and Dennis Schroder (+2 to 79).
