Just two weeks after a major patch to enhance Franchise Mode and EA Sports has delivered another – this time with a focus on Superstar players and their abilities as well as a number of adjustments to gameplay. Several players have entered the Superstar tier replacing those who have slipped from their previous position and eight new unique abilities have been introduced.
It wouldn’t be a sports video game patch if issues weren’t immediately identified after deployment. One of them was demonstrated in this video showing the new “Mossed” trait with a ridiculous outcome which, according to the notes provided by EA, is completely by design. There are other reports of lost abilities and chemistries previously earned in Ultimate Team. Read more

Since the deal began for Nike to provide the NBA jerseys back with the 2017-18 season there have been four primary sets for each team to choose from on a game-by-game basis: Association (white), Icon (team color), Statement (tying to the franchise’s history), and City (representing a connection with the community).
Not all teams will change change the last two every year but some choose to do so. A number of them have been unveiling new Statement uniforms for the coming season and 2K Sports has been adding them to NBA 2K20.
Among the options newly available are those that belong to the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Bucks had theirs revealed today and it could be as soon as tomorrow that those are introduced into 2K20. Other teams have announced reveal dates that extend into November so more will be trickling in over the coming weeks.
In addition to those uniforms the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers earlier received throwback-inspired ‘Classic” jerseys in the game. Those also feature the throwback court designs when worn at home. In yet another recent update the Nets’ new gray court design made its debut in 2K20 after being revealed late last month.

A full quarter of the season is in the books (for most teams outside of those with byes and last night’s game) and usually that’s when a real trend with player ratings movement starts to be seen. The latest roster update includes changes that react to the week four results but will also start to bring into account a significant portion of the season as players move up and down.
Despite that timing this update didn’t turn out to be one with majorly significant changes. In fact the league’s Rookie of the Month, Gardner Minshew, sits at 66 Overall. That is 7 points above where he began the season but still places him behind the likes of Blake Bortles, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Eli Manning, and Josh McCown among others.
Notables on the move include Odell Beckham Jr. (-1 to 96), Todd Gurley (-1 to 95), Earl Thomas (-1 to 94), Russell Wilson (+1 to 93), Stefon Diggs (+1 to 93), Ezekiel Elliott (-1 to 93), Adam Thielen (-1 to 93), Aaron Rodgers (+1 to 89), Matt Ryan (-1 to 88), Nick Chubb (+1 to 86), Kenny Golladay (+2 to 85), Desmond Trufant (-2 to 86), Tyler Eifert (-2 to 85), Justin Coleman (+3 to 81), and Frank Clark (-2 to 81).
