Along with the bountiful free content that has been added to Rocket League occasionally developer Psyonix has offered up paid DLC as well. Four new vehicles have been added to the game today and are being sold for $2 each. The cars were previously only found in the Collector’s Edition of the game sold by retailers in physical form.

Now those who own Rocket League digitally can obtain them on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Keep in mind all the cars in Rocket League essentially perform the same so it’s just a matter of deciding whether a cosmetic purchase is deemed worthwhile. The new cars are Masamune and Esper (Neo-Tokyo update themed) along with Marauder and Aftershock (classics from Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Car).

EA Sports has released the third in a four-part series of videos going into different aspects of improvements that have been made for FIFA 17. In this edition, which focuses on cover athlete candidate Marco Reus, it’s the Active Intelligence System that’s is taken a closer look at. “This brand new gameplay mechanic introduces constant spatial analysis, increases activity off the ball, and changes the way players move, read, and react.”

    Constant Spatial Analysis
Now every player analyzes the proximity of their opponents and the space around them to better identify opportunities in attack. When you are on the ball your teammates understand if you can make a pass and adjust their movement to show for you or make a new run.

    New Run Types
Smarter players and increased activity off the ball give you new and creative ways to open up the opposition. Orchestrated runs with multiple players, fake runs, stunt runs, and calling a player to show support are just a few ways you take control in the build up.

    mlb16beltrupdate

Though the last week only had a few days worth of games due to the All-Star Break a roster update was still provided for MLB The Show 16 today.

The most significant jump would at first appear to be with Yoenis Cespedes who’s gone from a 89 all the way up to 95. No attributes of his however were altered – the only thing that changed is a position move to left field. That’ll affect his value on the Marketplace, and the price of his card has basically doubled in the hours since the update released, but a switch back to center field some week down the line would drop him right back down.

Notable movers this week include Johnny Cueto (+1 to 92), Koji Uehara (becomes CP), Kelvin Herrera (becomes CP), Brandon Belt (+2 to 85), Kyle Hendricks (+2 to 85), Christian Yelich (+1 to 85), Matt Harvey (-3 to 85), Chris Archer (-2 to 84), Dexter Fowler (-2 to 83), Didi Gregorius (+3 to 81), Joaquin Benoit (-4 to 80), Max Kepler (+7 to 76), and Sandy Leon (+12 to 69).

New Flashback cards for Diamond Dynasty in this update are Prime Jose Reyes (97 Overall) and Rookie Jose Reyes (90), Postseason Jon Lester (93) and Rookie Jon Lester (75).

The latest video for FIFA 17 focuses on the new attacking techniques that will lead to more opportunities for creating scoring chances. They include driven finishes, downwards headers, driven goal kicks, and threaded through passes.

    DRIVEN FINISH
A new shot mechanic lets players keep the ball low in any situation – finesse, volley, or when simply slotting it home.

    DOWNWARDS HEADERS
Greater control in direction allows players to head the ball down and into the ground, making keepers work harder.

    DRIVEN GOAL KICKS
Start a quick counter attack by passing it out from goal with power and direction.

    THREADED THROUGH PASS
Curved. Precise. Into space. Complete a perfectly executed threaded through pass.
