FIFA Mobile now available worldwide
The latest refresh of the popular mobile version of the FIFA series has just released. FIFA Mobile, which drops Ultimate Team from the title but is still heavily based on the team-building model, can now be downloaded free for iOS through iTunes and for Android from Google Play. The game was available in limited markets for a month before releasing worldwide today where reviews were not kind and trail far behind those of last year’s edition.
The biggest new feature with FIFA Mobile is “Attack Mode” which takes a turn-based approach for online multiplayer matches where only offensive attacks are controlled. The game also features its traditional Ultimate Team, online leagues, and daily challenges. Read more

100ft Robot Golf out now on PS4
No Goblin is the latest independent developer to take a shot at creating a unique arcade-style sports game with the just released 100ft Robot Golf. The game is currently exclusive to PlayStation 4 – it’s expected to reach other platforms in the future though there is no outlook for when that will happen – and is being sold for $20 as a digital download.
100ft Robot Golf is just as the title makes it sound – giant robots playing golf in a handful of settings. The robots have their own specific skills and power-ups, and can smash obstacles and disrupt play of opponents. Modes include a single player campaign/story and both splitscreen and online multiplayer. With PSVR out this week it’s worth noting the game also includes a mode dedicated to Virtual Reality. Look for a review of 100ft Robot Golf within the next few days!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month promo has opened in Madden NFL 17 Ultimate Team
Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 17 is coming off the introduction of a terrific way to significantly upgrade teams without having to spend any money by playing through the October Gauntlet. The newest addition is the annual Breast Cancer Awareness promo which also offers considerable rewards.
The BCA program is split into two weeks, with this first one focusing on defense and then next Friday the second phase rolling out for offense. In this defensive week there are 16 challenges to complete that award a total of 21,250 Coins, 6 packs, and an Elite Richard Sherman.
Also new with BCA is the chemistry tied to specific players (requires 4 BCA in active lineup and gives +2 to Strength, Awareness, and Play Recognition) plus Sets that can turn 10 Silver BCA cards into one Gold or 10 Gold cards into an Elite. A final set will accept every defensive BCA player plus the Sherman that’s earned through the Solo Challenge in order to acquire an even higher rated version of Sherman.
BCA packs can be purchased from the store for 900 Points, which is the equivalent of $9 and provides 4 Gold or better BCA players. The defensive portion of the promo and all that comes with it ends the morning of the 14th when it’ll open up for the offense.

Upcoming EA Access Vault games include EA Sports UFC 2
The appealing nature of the EA Access subscription service tends to fluctuate over the course of a given year, being largely dependent upon times where the primary draw is the 10 hour trials for games about to release or the points at which the addition of those that have been out for a while are made to the Vault. Besides Battlefield 1 there are no more trials to come this year, however several additions to the Vault are planned.
The next big sports game to make it to the service will be EA Sports UFC 2 which originally released back in March. It’s expected by the end of the year but may very well be just a matter of weeks away. Despite an every-other-year release schedule the first EA Sports UFC only took six months before going to the Vault. The sequel features an Ultimate Team mode which is one way for the publisher to make additional revenue despite the game being free to subscribers.
Also coming soon are Star Wars Battlefront and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. A number of Xbox Live Arcade games were added today. The EA Access Vault currently features all sports games released this generation besides Madden 17, FIFA 17, and NHL 17. It also offers Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Need for Speed, Unravel, Battlefield Hardline, and several others. Those games are essentially owned as long as a subscription is active.
EA Access goes for $30 a year or $5 month-to-month which is a fantastic value. The service remains available on Xbox One but not PlayStation 4, as Sony has decided to continue blocking it from the system. In addition to the Vault, subscribers get extended early trials of games before they release and 10% off all digital purchases.

Madden NFL 17 roster update details out of week four of the season
The roster update following week three is now available to download in Madden NFL 17. With his 300 yard receiving game Julio Jones has moved up for the second time this season and is now rated 98 Overall. Richard Sherman has become the top rated cornerback in the game as he moves up 2 points to 94 Overall and jumps ahead of Josh Norman who dropped 1 to 93.
Other notable ratings movers include Aaron Donald (+1 to 98), Geno Atkins (+1 to 95), Tyrann Mathieu (-1 to 95), Reshad Jones (+1 to 94), Brandon Graham (+2 to 93), Odell Beckham Jr. (-1 to 92), Linval Joseph (+2 to 91), Jimmy Graham (+2 to 90), Cam Newton (-2 to 90), Kawann Short (-2 to 88), Matt Ryan (+2 to 87), Xavier Rhodes (+3 to 83), Terence Newman (+3 to 83), Isaiah Crowell (+5 to 82), Ryan Kalil (-4 to 82), Zach Brown (+5 to 81), and Robert Ayers (-4 to 81). You can view all the ratings changes throughout the league with this new form.

Create and share snowboarding runs and parks with Infinite Air’s World Editor
HB Studios today revealed the World Editor feature for the upcoming snowboarding game Infinite Air. A similar approach is being taken to the studio’s own The Golf Club which had a terrific course creator heavily utilized by the community. With Infinite Air the World Editor will allow users to create and share their own unique runs and parks or download those from others.
Thousands and thousands of user-generated courses will serve as the foundation for Infinite Air’s competitive atmosphere. At launch, the World Editor will offer over 100 items that can be used to create distinctive runs, using a variation of ramps, rails and pipes – anything to suit the players’ mind. Players will explore a vast backcountry across massive procedurally generated mountains and compete against friends, building and riding their own terrain parks and carving first tracks in pristine powder.
Infinite Air is set to release on October 25 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will be $50 but those with Amazon Prime can get it for $40.

Madden NFL 17 has its commentary update from the fourth week of the regular season
The eighth commentary update for Madden NFL 17 went out today with the broadcast team of Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis reflecting on the events that took place and storylines that emerged from week four of the season. Madden will be receiving these real-world commentary updates regularly throughout the year which apply to Play Now and Online games. The duo will also be recording additional audio for modes like Franchise and Ultimate Team.
