While The Golf Club released for PC through Steam Early Access two weeks ago, it will still be some time before it arrives for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A tweet from the official account has essentially stated that it won't be out in May. (more…)...

This somewhat unique episode of the Press Row Podcast features three distinct segments and some special guests. Jeremy Stein and Corey Andress join Rich and I to discuss FIFA in two of them. Up first is a review roundtable for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. That is followed by bringing on PR Manager for Out of the Park Baseball, Brad Cook, to talk about OOTP 15 and iOOTP '14. Finally another FIFA segment which includes extensive discussion on the EA Sports series as a whole and where it s...

2014 FIFA World Cup is a difficult game to properly assess. It offers up a compelling experience, something the every-four-years edition has become known for, but one that will feel notably old-gen to those who played FIFA 14 on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.  (more…)...

Though a release date has yet to be announced for The Golf Club on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the game released today for PC through Steam Early Access. It's available at a discount for the next seven days with the price now at $30 with a jump to $35 later. The Xbox One and PS4 versions are said to release "soon" so it may just be a matter of certification with it landing next week or the following week. The Golf Club is the only sim golf game expected to release in 2014 as EA Sports PGA...

2014 FIFA World Cup is out today and it would have been a much bigger event had the game released on Xbox One and PS4. Alas EA Sports chose not to do so, which means I'm heading back to the Xbox 360 to evaluate it. Check out a live stream below (which will be archived after to watch) of the game which will include playing a variety of modes. (Update) The stream archives are now embedded below. Will have basic impressions of the game posted later this week! Watch live video from Pastapadr...

EA Sports has released a new video promoting the release of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil on Tuesday. A recent one took a look at the modes in the game and now attention turns to the presentation. That includes featuring all the stadiums, some of the actual managers, talk radio commenting on the developments, and the crowd scenes. • Your Thoughts on the Demo for 2014 FIFA World Cup

The demo for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil released yesterday on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and the response to it seems largely positive. That's great for those who have been anticipating the game but feels especially unfortunate for the others who would have jumped at the opportunity to buy it on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 if presented the opportunity. The 2010 World Cup game was one of the best sports titles of the entire 360/PS3 generation. 2014 looks to capitalize on that history with cons...
