    Konami has followed up its initial info on Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 with a showing at E3 that included a trailer, presentation, and additional gameplay details. The biggest news though is the announcement of an online beta next month. Featuring the new 3v3 online co-op mode the beta will run from July 20-31 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.     Rocket League, which has sold well over 10 million copies and been played by over 30 million players, will be heading to the Nintendo Switch this holiday season. The surprise smash hit which has remained incredibly popular due to extensive post-release support and success as an eSport will be adding a new element of portability thanks to the system's unique capabilities.     Much of the conversation around the FIFA for Nintendo Switch that will release in September has centered on what will be missing from the product. It won't be on the Frostbite engine and it won't have The Journey story mode.     The first news reveal for the biggest video game franchise in the world came out of EA Play today.     Though its relevance on the ground has been fading E3 still represents a massive yearly event for the gaming industry.     Noticeably absent from this year's EA Play/E3 will be NHL 18. While NHL has generally always had some presence in the mid-June events this time around EA Sports is holding back anything substantial until the NHL Awards on June 21.     Third parties already face an uphill battle selling on Nintendo hardware but putting out inferior products to those they also release on other systems plays a role as well.
