EA Sports has announced a new game coming for the PS3, 360 and Wii called Facebreaker. Where the Fight Night series is the company's sim representation of the sport, Facebreaker will be the arcade entry with a cartooney look all its own. Both Fight Night Round 4 and Facebreaker are being developed out of EA Canada with Facebreaker being the first of the two to be released. The game features fictional boxers plus the ability to use "Game Face" which was first implemented with Tiger Woods 0...

FIFA Street 3 arrived today and I wanted to get the full list of teams in the game up. I am planning on posting the complete rosters and rating categories as well but that is going to take some time to put together. Over the next few days and leading up to release of the game look for that along with general and online impressions and details and full game videos. There are 20 teams total along with their rating out of five stars. Continue on to view the list. (more…)...

Gameplanet, a New Zealand website, has released some previously unknown specifics on 2K Sports' Don King Presents: Prizefighter. It looks as though they were able to obtain a partial fact sheet. Live the Boxing Life - A full career mode offers players a comprehensive story line that follows them through real-life boxing situations such as injuries, facing stacked odds against a corrupt judge, and more. These dramatic moments are told in a sports documentary style using the voices and imag...

I am expecting my copy of FIFA Street 3 to arrive tomorrow. From there I will try and get up some impressions, list of teams with breakdown of player types (tricksters, playmakers, finishers, enforcers) and rosters/ratings, along with some full game videos. Given that the game is still three weeks from release the coverage will be spread out more than usual probably with a new piece of content every other day. As always if you have any questions or aspects of the game you would like me ...

I have written a good deal about EA GameShow and how I got hooked on it immediately. You can check out all of the articles on its tag page. After trying out some of the new features of the December update I haven't been able to play all that much. When you sit down for Gameshow you want to set aside a good chunk of time and I just haven't had that or the energy lately to do so. Interestingly enough comes along GameShow "Fun Size". This is a quick mini-version that is played on the web and i...

With the demo already out (impressions and video) it's somewhat anti-climactic that a flurry of hands-on impressions for FIFA Street 3 have made their way out. I'll link a few below but for the most part if you read one you'll have a good idea of what you'll find in the rest. Also the official website has gone live. TeamXbox IGN Gamespy 1UP I'm hoping to get a full list of teams and rosters in the near future. Other than that I think everyone by now has a good idea of what to expect...

Sports Illustrated has a short preview of Don King: Prizefighter that mentions a few new pieces of info about the game. You can read the full preview here and I've pulled out a few statements below. The main theme of Prizefighter's single-player career mode plays off of King's statement: It's about the choice you have to make between glory and money. Would you rather hit the gym to train for your next fight or work on enhancing your notoriety? The former can help get you a win, but the la...

Don King: Prizefighter has been added into the Gamestop/EB database and is listed with a tentative release date of Tuesday April 1st. While this isn't a confirmed date generally it is a good indication when a game is added in this close to its proposed release window. Prizefighter was expected to be released in April it was just unknown what Tuesday it would fall on. The 360 version is listed at $59.99 and $29.99 for the DS. In what must be an error (and it was, it has since been updated ...
