  • Four new stadiums added for FIFA 18

    Four stadiums will make their debut in FIFA 18, taking the number in the game to 50 licensed out of 79 total. The new ones are the LA Galaxy's StubHub Center (also featured in Madden NFL 18), Atletico Madrid's new home Wanda Metropolitano, and those for promoted Premier Club teams Huddersfield Town (Kirklees Stadium) and Brighton (Amex Stadium).  (more…)...

    Last last month Konami held an open online beta for PES 2018 that was intended to test the online performance tied to both the new co-op mode which features three users on each side and the standard head-to-head matches. Now the publisher has revealed details on a traditional beta for the game which is planned to go live on Wednesday, August 30.     Back at EA Play the second season of The Journey story mode with FIFA 18 was teased in a trailer along with a first look at gameplay improvements. With the immense popularity of the The Journey in FIFA 17 - over 12 million people played at least a portion of it - there's little surprise that it would be one of the biggest selling points for the upcoming edition in the series.   • Demo for Surf World Series available now

    Surf World Series is now nearing release after being first announced last December and today a free demo has gone out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game comes from independent developer Climax Studios and features arcade-style challenges and online competition. The demo includes three different events and two of the characters. (more…)...
  • NHL 18 beta extended and open to all

    As expected EA Sports has opened and extended the beta for NHL 18. Originally scheduled to come to a close yesterday the beta will now run through August 8. Codes are no longer needed as it can simply be downloaded from the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. Three different modes are featured in the online beta.
