    The secret online feature for NHL 09 has now been officially revealed as being the EA Sports Hockey League. This will be somewhat of a combination between Be A Pro mode and Online Team Play. Along the lines of an MMO, you'll be able to create your player and improve him through the EASHL.     After hanging around for nine months EA Gameshow is coming to an end as of July 25th. The live interactive sports trivia game never received much of a push from EA and subsequently never gained any traction with the masses. A small but dedicated group of players remained throughout. When Gameshow first started up I was hooked. It offered a unique experience with live hosts and their interation with the players added a lot.     G4 gave the award for Best Innovation at E3 to NBA Live 09 (365/Dynamic DNA) There are currently no plans to change the cover of Madden 09. Not a surprise given that nothing has happened yet.     With the EA press conference and the first day of E3 out of the way there is a wide variety of sports titles to track progress on.     Monday is the day for big EA Sports feature announcements for NBA Live 09, NHL 09, and FIFA 09. The press conference begins at 3pt/6et and can be watched via live streaming on G4TV.     FIFA 09 will bring the expansion of the Online Team Play to 10 on 10. That means 09 will offer up to a total of 20 different 360s or PS3s the ability to connect into a single online game.     The lineup for E3 is taking shape and both EA Sports and 2K Sports have named the games that will be on hand. EA will have NCAA Football 09, Madden 09, Tiger Woods 09, Facebreaker, and NBA Live 09 on display. 2K will be bringing NBA 2K9 and NHL 2K9. E3 runs from the 15th-17th, but the big feature news will be coming out of EA's press conference on the Monday the 14th. More on Facebreaker has recently made its way out.     Joystiq recently gave hands-on impressions of the EA Sports "All Play" titles coming out in the near future on the Wii. Included are the 09 versions of NCAA Football, Madden, Tiger Woods, NBA Live, and FIFA. Here are some excerpts as well as my thoughts on the potential each one has.
