    While the Facebreaker demo gives you the chance to experience the fast-paced fighting in addition to that it provides the ability to try out the Photo Game Face feature.     The demos for EA Sports Madden NFL 09 and Facebreaker are now available for download for the 360 and should both be coming this afternoon for the PS3. Generally the PSN is updated around 3pm PT. It turns out Madden came one day earlier than expected as it had been advertised for August 1st.     EA Sports has released a video detailing the Photo Game Face feature in Facebreaker. Given that the demo releasing tomorrow on XBL and PSN presents the ability to insert your created face (only onto one of the three characters available within the demo) this is a timely look at the process.     This year much angst was caused within the PC community when EA Sports announced Madden, NBA Live, and Tiger Woods would not be released. At the time Peter Moore made assurances that the PC was not being abandoned as they needed to take the time and reevaluate their offerings. Piracy, sluggish sales, and lagging quality were at the core of the concerns.     Madden List has put together sortable player ratings for Madden 09. You can check out the ratings by team and display the players in order according to their rating in any category.     A new trailer has been released for NHL 09 featuring the recently announced EA Sports Hockey League. This offers a progression and combination of the Be A Pro and Online Team Play modes within a giant league environment, all while playing for a created team and attempting to improve as an individual similar to an MMO.     In his latest blog entry, Peter Moore comments on the state of E3 while indirectly brushing off criticism directed at NCAA Football 09. He goes on to thank the community for helping to get some of the issues with the latest releases (NCAA, Nascar) addressed so quickly.     The demo for Facebreaker is expected to hit XBL and PSN on Thursday July 31st. Considering the arcade style fighting game doesn't release until the first week of September that is unexpectedly early. One round of action (90 seconds) will be featured in the demo, with three playable characters and two arenas to choose from.
