There have been a number of missteps by THQ in regards to the handling of downloadable content for WWE All-Stars. The latest is a delay in the release of the first DLC due to "technical issues" for the Xbox 360 after the PS3 received it all early last week. It is now expected out no earlier than next week for the 360 and there are no guarantees it will even be out then. As a result the pre-order bonus of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Ted DiBiase Jr. will remain unavailable to be c...

File this in the rumor category for now but it appears to be legitimate. What is unknown is whether the survey was intended to research the prospects of making the game or rather set the expectations for it's eventual release if already advancing ...

Three new potential franchises are in development at EA Sports, though the company has chosen not to reveal what they are just yet. The news was made at a press event being held in San Francisco where the company is showing off some of their upcoming titles including Madden 12, NCAA Football 12, and SSX. One of the three is said to be a football game that is "fundamentally different" than those sim titles. This could very well be the remake of NFL Blitz that was rumored late last year. ...

Largely perceived to be monumental addition to the Tiger Woods franchise, The Masters acted as the primary selling point for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Early reports are that sales are up but only marginally, with The Masters likely accounting for why, but still well below where they were prior to Tiger's indiscretions.  (more…)...

The recent patch and tuner update for Fight Night Champion was generally well received though some issues still remained. Another tuner set is expected to arrive next week and hopes to address at least one of them. Jab spamming, particularly exploited online, is what is being targeted in the next update. EA Sports has also noted that another patch is in the works for the game and that it will include fixes for some of the crashes and freezes being experienced both online and offline. Cons...
