    The new Tournaments feature for Rocket League has entered an online beta stage which will run until Friday night at 8ET. Unfortunately the beta is limited to Steam for PC therefore leaving out PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. To access the beta right click on Rocket League from the Steam Library, choose Properties, click Betas, and select Tournaments Beta from the drop down list.     Opportunities continue to present themselves for those who still have interest in last year's slate of EA Sports games to get them at deep discounts. Madden NFL 18 and NBA Live 18 are already in the Vault for EA Access subscribers and those on Xbox One should consider that NHL 18 will likely be added to the Vault in March and FIFA 18 in April before deciding on a purchase.     The third content update for Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 goes out today. In October the game received 117 new player likenesses and 139 kits, followed by new stadiums, another national team, Xbox One X enhancements, additional player likenesses and more in November. This latest patch for PES 2018 updates another 90 player faces, delivers the latest kits for 10 national teams and 17 other clubs, and has added many player portraits along with some new boots and balls.  (more…)...
  • Disc Jam gets free major content update and release for Nintendo Switch

    Nearly one year ago Disc Jam released on PlayStation 4 and PC and today marks another landmark for the game as it arrives on the Nintendo Switch. Disc Jam is probably best described as a combination of tennis and air hockey and is reminiscent of the 90's game Windjammers.     All of the considerable losses from the Star Wars Battlefront II fiasco amounted to just a speed bump for Electronic Arts as the company's stock hit an all-time high at market opening this morning following reporting on Q3 financials and increased projections for Q4.     Microsoft made a huge announcement today that is reflective of where the gaming industry is headed for the future. The Xbox Game Pass subscription service will soon also feature all Microsoft Studios games on their release dates.
