SSX Patch Adds Two New Modes
The teases from EA Sports regarding new content for SSX materialized today in a patch for the game that delivers two new modes for free. As expected head-to-head live online multiplayer races are now in and known as "3-2-1-GO" as is the ability to simply explore a mountain in "Freeride" mode. NBA 2K13 to Feature Kinect Functionality
This year EA Sports began integrating Kinect for Xbox 360 functionality within several sports titles. Tiger Woods 13 was the first while Madden NFL 13 and FIFA 13 are soon to follow. 2K Sports is also looking to take advantage of the over 20 million Kinect systems out in the wild as NBA 2K13 will feature it as well. Features List for FIFA 13 Wii U
EA Sports has released the full feature descriptions for the Wii U version of FIFA 13. Improvements to Be a Pro and EASHL Detailed for NHL 13
EA Sports has released a new developer blog for NHL 13 detailing the enhancements to be expected within Be a Pro mode and EA Sports Hockey League. "Hockey I.Q." is a big part of making the experience better by having AI teammates perform better and more true to life but the improvements go beyond just that. FIFA 13 Coming to Wii U
EA Sports still haven't publicly stated their plans for the Wii U but an article in the latest Official Nintendo Magazine confirms that FIFA 13 will release on the system later this year. The GamePad's touchscreen will offer the ability to take actions such as shooting, passing, tackling, and taking free kicks.
