Brazilian Clubs Added to FIFA 14
EA Sports today announced that 19 officially licensed clubs from Brazil are being introduced in FIFA 14 which will now feature over 30 leagues, 600 clubs, and 16,000 players. Triumph in FIFA 13 Sends Marco Di Vaio to MLS All-Star Game
The final spot on the MLS All-Star team will be filled by Marco Di Vaio of the Montreal Impact. Goals scored in FIFA 13 for the week of July 3-10 determined the winner and Di Vaio outpaced everyone with 73,838 of them. The runner-up was Robbie Keane of the Los Angeles Galaxy with over 69K of his own. Individual Challenging Attorney Fees Delays EA Football Pricing Settlement Payouts
The class action settlement that came down from the lawsuit that claimed EA raised the price of football games after securing exclusive licenses is now being held up by an individual taking issue with the cut the lawyers received in the deal. An extension to the period to make claims was enacted back in April with payouts expected to be made over the summer. Goals Scored in FIFA 13 Will Determine Final MLS All-Star Selection
EA Sports and MLS today launched a promotion to determine the final spot for the MLS All-Star game which takes place on July 31. A forward will be selected based on the number of goals scored in FIFA 13 over the next week. Goals scored with the players in Match Day kick-off, Career, and Seasons modes through July 10 will qualify.
