    EA Sports yesterday revealed that FIFA 13 made over $70 million in digital revenue the previous quarter, having been generated primarily from the popular Ultimate Team mode, bringing the total for the game to more than $275 million.   • EA Confirms College Football Series to Continue Into Next-Gen

    Earlier today the news broke that the NCAA was pulling out of providing their license for any college sports video games. Executive vice president of EA Sports, Andrew Wilson, has responded to the news today to assure fans the series will continue albeit without the NCAA name and logo attached.  (more…)...

    The NCAA today announced they will not be renewing their contract with EA Sports for the rights to their name and logo. That means NCAA Football 14 at the very least is the last game that will be able to use that name and it may be the final blow to a series that was already teetering on the edge of viability.  (more…)...

    Gamespot has posted a lengthy gameplay video from NHL 14 featuring the NHL 94 mode that was announced last week. The new mode takes the current day gameplay minus the rules and tacks on '94 style touches such as the blue ice, stars under players, sound effects, and control scheme. Inexplicably however the mode won't be playable online.
