Claude Giroux Wins NHL 13 Cover Tourney
Though it stretched on in tedious fashion for nearly three months the cover campaign for NHL 13 collected over 25 million votes by the time it was completed. The announcement of the winner came this evening as Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux came out on top to become the NHL 13 cover athlete - defeating Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne in the finals. NHL 13 Pre-Order Incentives
EA Sports has announced the pre-order incentives for NHL 13 and they vary between retailers. The options will be of interest to Hockey Ultimate Team or Be a Pro and EA Sports Hockey League players. Outside of those modes though they are offering nothing. The one with the most value is probably Gamestop's but otherwise it may be worth waiting to see if Amazon drops the price or adds a promotional credit in the coming weeks. Details on GM Connected Mode in NHL 13 – May Have Spoiled Connected Careers Feature in Madden NFL 13
While focus has largely been on the "monumental change to gameplay" being announced on Monday for Madden NFL 13 there is also the unveiling of "Connected Careers" scheduled for the same day. Voting for NHL 13 Cover Reaches Finals
The excessively long process to determine the cover athlete for NHL 13 – which began in late March and won’t end until June 20 – continues with the tournament now down to two. Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne takes on Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux for the honor. The voting runs through Monday June 4 and can be completed through the official NHL.com page - news on the winner however will be held until the 20th at the 2012 NHL Awards show....
