NHL 14 Ultimate Team Gets Online Seasons
Like NCAA Football 14 and Madden NFL 25 in recent months Online Seasons will also debut in NHL 14's Ultimate Team mode. That goes along with Online Seasons also being featured in EASHL. The system involves 10 game "seasons" in which winning a certain number of games will lead into playoffs and moving up to tougher competition. Top Rated Players in NHL 14
EA Sports has released a listing of top 50 rated players in NHL 14. Leading the way are Sidney Crosby and Pavel Datsyuk at 95 overall. A Flickr album features images showing the ratings breakdown for each one of the players as well. Remember this year there will be dynamic ratings updates throughout the season with the intention of better keeping up with player performance and streaks. Demo for NHL 14 Now Available
The demo for NHL 14 has arrived on the Xbox 360 (can be queued up for download here) and will make it to the PS3 when the store updates this afternoon. Featured in the demo are three modes to play. A standard game with a Stanley Cup rematch limited to the third period, NHL 94 mode with the same two teams, and Hockey Ultimate Team. NHL 14 Demo Set for August 20
EA Sports has announced details on the NHL 14 demo. Set to arrive next Tuesday the demo will feature a rematch of the Stanley Cup Finals (though limited to the third period), the ability to try out the NHL 94 mode which delivers the presentation and effects over top current day gameplay, and the opportunity to start up Hockey Ultimate Team. Online Seasons Coming to EASHL in NHL 14
In a blog post this week EA Sports revealed online improvements being made for NHL 14. New will be the Online Seasons mode that has been successful in other titles and will be integrated here in EA Sports Hockey League. Just like the real NHL, teams will get points for playing through each game.
