Photo Face still unavailable for Tiger Woods 08
Updating previous articles on 8/30 and 8/28, the EA Sports World site is still not functioning thus preventing consumers from utilizing the Photo Face feature in Tiger Woods 08. Update on the status of EA Sports World
As I addressed on Tuesday with this article, the EA Sports World site has not been functioning ever since the launch of Tiger Woods 08. This has meant that consumers who purchased the game have not been able to utilize advertised and highly promoted features such as Game Face. The demo for Tiger Woods 08 has been released onto the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace. As of 8/30 it was also released for the PS3. Free downloadable update will allow for 10 players in online FIFA 08 games
Now normally I couldn't care less about FIFA news but this is pretty big and ultimately is a sign of where other sports games will be headed. Gametrailers has posted a new video spotlighting Photo Face, which is one of the new features in Tiger Woods 08. While it has been known for a while that the Xbox 360 camera would be used for this, they mention that you'll be able to import in photographs also.
