No Multiplayer for Madden 3DS
Madden is set to be a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS as it hits stores on March 27th. What Activision Buying Take Two Might Mean for 2K Sports
Over the last few years Take Two has been an acquisition target for multiple companies most notably Electronic Arts. Now comes a rumor that the other giant in the gaming world Activision may be eyeing a takeover. THQ Pricing Experiment Begins in May
Just about four months ago THQ revealed plans to try a new pricing model that would begin with the next iteration of the MX off-road racing series. The idea is to release new games at a lower entry point ($30 or $40) and then push downloadable content to expand the experience. The base game may not be fully featured therefore leaving it to individual consumers to choose what is important to them if more is desired.

Sony Reveals Their Next Generation Portable
At an event held in Japan last night Sony unveiled their "Next Generation Portable" follow-up to the PSP. The system will apparently rival the processing power of the PS3, offers dual analog sticks, capacitive touch screen, flash based memory, and online/social connectivity. The event earlier this week to officially set the Nintendo 3DS for March 27th at $250 also nailed down a large group of release window titles. Something’s Got to Give on March 29th
As March approaches it is shaping up to be a massive month in terms of new releases, particularly as it relates to sports related titles. Check out the recent poll on which game is generating the most interest. Virtua Tennis 4 to Utilize Kinect
Sega has officially announced that Virtua Tennis 4 will support Kinect for Xbox 360 as well as Playstation Move and Wii MotionPlus. In doing so it becomes the first tennis offering to offer Kinect implementation. WWE All-Stars Arcade-Style Controllers
THQ and Mad Catz have teamed up to create two WWE All-Stars branded controllers designed to be advantageous for use with the arcade fighter. One is a joystick with an arcade layout and the other is more standard controller form with a D-Pad and six button layout.
The "Brawl Stick" will go for a hefty $79.99 while the "Brawl Pad" comes in at $39.99. They are both currently slated to release on March 22nd, which is one week ahead of when WWE All-Stars will arrive in stores. (more…)...
