    The preparation of a "subscription service" by EA Sports has created widespread discussion throughout gaming communities. Though nothing is official yet the documents and surveys circulating suggest optional value add-ons for a yearly fee ranging from $14.99 to $34.99 are on the way.     It was only a few weeks ago that EA Sports president Peter Moore talked of a persistent social profile that would transfer from game to game. Now the manner in which that may be carried out is becoming clearer.     Three new potential franchises are in development at EA Sports, though the company has chosen not to reveal what they are just yet. The news was made at a press event being held in San Francisco where the company is showing off some of their upcoming titles including Madden 12, NCAA Football 12, and SSX. One of the three is said to be a football game that is "fundamentally different" than those sim titles. This could very well be the remake of NFL Blitz that was rumored late last year. ...

    SEGA will be delivering two demos for the upcoming Virtua Tennis 4 that will be exclusive to the PS3. Just last week it was announced that the PS3 would be receiving exclusive content for the game in the way of a few extra legends and party games. Players will be able to get a jump start on the "board game style" career mode by playing through a portion of the first year which will include character creation and a few tournaments.     The demo for Top Spin 4 is now available for the Xbox 360 and will be arriving for the PS3 with the update to PSN this evening. The demo features a tie break match to seven points at the US Open. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Ana Ivanovic, and Serena Williams are the four players available to choose from for the match.     Though 2K Sports has yet to make officially announce them the demos for both MLB 2K11 and Top Spin 4 are scheduled to hit the PS3 and 360 on Tuesday March 1st. No details on what the demos will feature yet but that will likely be detailed laid out today.
