    With E3 only days away Microsoft decided to get the bad news out of the way before then by detailing their practices regarding second hand games, online requirement, and mandatory Kinect.     The biggest E3 in years takes place next week and with it an opportunity to get hands-on time with some of the games and get answers to some of the questions that have lingered in the lead-up to their respective releases.     In advance of their pre-E3 event tomorrow Konami has released a feature outline for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. The game will feature the Fox Engine with a strong theme of fluidity throughout gameplay. PES 2014 will release this fall on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PSP - unlike competitor FIFA it will not make the transition to the Xbox One and PS4 this year.  (more…)...

  • OverDog App Launches on iOS

    The app that aims to provide gamers an opportunity to take on professional athletes has just launched for iOS devices. OverDog, which is co-founded by former Bears linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer and carries an advisory board that includes Raiders punter Chris Kluwe and Rays pitcher David Price, is operating now in "soft launch" and for the time being is completely free.     Earlier this month EA announced they would be shutting down the Online Pass program and that is already taking place for currently released titles. The company is now removing all Online Pass restrictions and expects to complete the process within the next few weeks.  (more…)...

    After stumbling with promotion of Madden NFL 25 - the first gameplay news was viewed in a distinctly negative fashion with an earlier poll showing only 14% enthused by the details - EA Sports appears to have gotten back on the right track by detailing the additions and improvements for Connected Franchise mode.
