    While NBA 2K17 and FIFA 17 supported the new PS4 Pro and its capability to enhance the visuals and framerates of games at launch, Konami had announced plans to follow later this month with an update for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The company has since announced a delay for that particular patch and a target now of mid-December.     Despite the pleas of fans Electronic Arts has shown no signs of bringing the Skate franchse back to life for the new generation of consoles. A consolation prize though arrives today as Skate 3 is now among the library of backwards compatible titles on Xbox One.     Mountain sports games are making a resurgence with three of them releasing in this final quarter of the year. There's the full-priced Steep in early December, the free-to-play Snow which is currently in beta, and Mark McMorris Infinite Air which arrived last week.     Mark McMorris Infinite Air releases today for $50 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Infinite Air comes from the same studio behind the well-regarded title The Golf Club, but unlike that game at launch it's available in both physical retail form and as a digital download.     The first post-release update for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 is scheduled to release near the end of the month. The patch will feature a number of player likeness improvements and specific play-styles for individuals. It will also update the pitch side hoardings and introduce new official boot styles to the game, including the option of choosing a variety of studs.
