New demos hit the 360 Marketplace
Two new demos became available overnight on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. All-Pro Football 2K8: The demo presents a single five minute quarter between the Firebirds and the Cobras. Rosters are pre-set for those teams so there is no choosing of legends. Unfortunately this demo comes about 2 weeks too late. Better late than never though. Trailer for future UFC game
The first trailer for the Ultimate Fighting Championship 2007 game was released out of E3 this week. Apparently this is not actual in-game footage, it is a target rendering of what they hope to achieve. The game isn't expected to be out any earlier than near the end of 2008. Update on the expected demos
In conjunction with E3 will come the release of numerous demos. Of those that are expected, the most likely sports titles are NCAA Football 08 and All-Pro Football 2K8. If you want a long shot it could be Nascar 08. Updates are below as of 7/12. Also as I've noted before, don't be surprised if one or both are released only for the Xbox 360 and not for the PS3. What to expect from E3
Running July 10th-13th, the revised E3 structure will provide for a different experience this year. It should lead to more detailed coverage from the media sites. Sony/MS/Nintendo and the game developers will be able to relay their messages in a stronger and more focused fashion. On the other hand it will probably mean less in the way of impressions from individuals. Teamxbox has posted up a pre-E3 preview of Tiger 08. After revealing GamerNet and Photo Face on April 11th we hadn't gotten anything on Tiger until the recent trailer and now this.
