    With just under three weeks now until release EA Sports has revealed what to expect from Career mode in FIFA 14. The big new feature being introduced is the Global Transfer Network which will dramatically alter the way scouting is handled in the mode.   • Top Rated Players in FIFA 14

    EA Sports today released a listing of the top 50 rated players in FIFA 14 which encompasses those rated 85 and higher. Leading the way to no one's surprise is cover athlete Lionel Messi at 94 overall. Following closely behind are Cristiano Ronaldo (92), Franck Ribéry (90), Falcao (90), and four tied at 89.   • Off-Screen FIFA 14 Next-Gen Gameplay Videos

    The first opportunity to see next-gen FIFA 14 in action came with Gamescom last week. The game was running on the Xbox One, considering the partnership between EA and Microsoft those type of arrangements will be the norm in coming years, and a number of off-screen videos were captured. Though never the best way to evaluate a game they do offer a chance to assess the graphics, some of the new tech behind the Ignite Engine, and in general how the games flow.   • FIFA 14 Gets New Features, Next-Gen Trailer, and More News Out of Gamescom

    At EA's Gamescom press conference this morning the company made a number of announcements for FIFA 14. The demo for the 360 and PS3 will arrive on September 10, the mobile version of the game will for the first time be free-to-play, legends are coming to Ultimate Team mode exclusively on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and  Seasons mode will now have co-op play. A new "Living Worlds" trailer for the Xbox One and PS4 version of FIFA 14 also premiered.  (more…)...

    Earlier this week EA Sports announced that Ultimate Team content will transfer or mirror from the current generation versions of Madden NFL 25 and FIFA 14 to their next-gen versions. With Madden items and currency will be moved and for FIFA they'll actually share the same team-building universe.     EA Sports has announced the pre-order bonuses for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of FIFA 14.     EA Sports yesterday revealed that FIFA 13 made over $70 million in digital revenue the previous quarter, having been generated primarily from the popular Ultimate Team mode, bringing the total for the game to more than $275 million. That is over 90% higher than the digital revenue from an already record-breaking FIFA 12.
