The NBA Live 16 demo is out now
The demo for NBA Live 16 is now available to download on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It's a unique one in that it includes an online component and the ability to create a character that will carry over to the full game should it be purchased.
Featured are six teams to use in standard exhibition games (Bulls, Cavaliers, Clippers, Thunder, Warriors, Wizards) along with tutorial drills, shootaround, and scrimmage. But it's the Live Pro-Am that takes center stage.
There are two onlin...
Lengthy NBA Live 16 gameplay videos from live stream
Following footage recorded off-screen at E3, NBA Live 16 went somewhat into hiding and since then has avoided the release of any gameplay footage, knowing that a great deal would ride on the demo anyway. However EA Sports gave out copies of the game at a party on Saturday night - many of which have since ended up on Ebay - and that means footage of the game would inevitably get out no matter whatever efforts EA would take to prevent that from happening.
Already there has been a live strea...
Live Pro-Am announcement had some traction, but can it carry the game to sales?
Both NBA Live 16 and NBA 2K16 are rolling out a significant online-based mode that shares the same name. The importance each one holds is wildly different however, with Live Pro-Am being the main feature of that game, while 2K's Pro-Am is just one of several modes that offer considerable depth.
Based on the results of the poll on the two, Live has done well with its announcement as it has attracted some interest. 29% of respondents found themselves more intrigued by Live's ...

Which Pro-Am from the upcoming NBA games is the most intriguing?
NBA 2K16 and NBA Live 16 don't share a lot in common in terms of the modes they'll be offering up, but they do have one that is not just similar in nature but share the same name: Pro-Am.
The 2K Pro-Am takes the place of last year's Jordan Rec Center, and continues with 5-on-5 (every player can be controlled by a different user or some spots taken by CPU) and NBA rules. Leaderboards and matchmaking have been added - no more time wasted waiting in "Got Next" spots! However the biggest n...
Live Pro-Am announced for NBA Live 16; Part of mid-September demo
It may be coming one year too late to take full advantage of an opening presented by the competition, which will now be offering up a similar mode by the very same name late next month, but the announcement of Live Pro-Am for NBA Live 16 is a significant one. The Pro-Am encompasses two different modes: Live Run and Summer Circuit.
EA Sports had been hinting at Live Run making a comeback since June. It returns six years after it was a popular mode of play in NBA Live 10. Unlike adidas Live...
