First Live Run Meetup Recap
Yesterday was the first first time getting together to play Adidas Live Run games in NBA Live 10. The Pastapadre squad may be 1-13 but no one seemed to mind. It was a fun evening and the one win was ultra-satisfying coming over a team that trash talked in pre-game and touted their being "ranked 13th in the world". You can check out all of the results and stats on the website. There will definitely be future Live Run sessions set up so keep an eye out if you're interested in joining in....

One of the difficulties that comes with cooperative modes in sports games is arranging for a group of people to be on at the same time. While NBA Live 10 includes the ability to jump into Online Team Play games with Adidas Live Run you form a squad and build that up with members who are eligible to play. NBA Live 10 Patch Release Plans
NBA Live 10's lead gameplay designer Mike Wang has mentioned plans for the first patch on Twitter. The patch is slated to release the first week of November. In order to meet that timetable it will probably be submitted for certification by the end of next week. Rather than put the patch out right away EA has decided to hold back a bit to incorporate more consumer feedback. The NBA Live series comes into this year with increased expectations after primarily concentrating efforts on improving the gameplay experience rather than adding in new modes. Adidas Live Run enters NBA Live 10 as an evolution of the Online Team Play that has been so successful the last two years. 10 people connect into a single online game with each controlling their own player. With Live Run instead of OTP taking place in a standard game each person gets to select their position and then player of choice in a game of 21.
