NHL 2K11 iPhone Impressions
By Corey Andress
Being Canadian I can tell you first hand that there are certain things expected of us. We have to be overly nice (not really true), like bacon (very true), say things completely wrong (about, eh?!), and most of all - love hockey. Now Iāll admit up front that Iām a much bigger fan of the NBA or NFL, but hockey is religion to us Canadians. Even if there are some of us that hate it, when our team plays on a national level the whole country stops.
With that said, I l...
Madden NFL 11 iPhone Impressions
By Corey Andress
Going into the 2010-11 NFL season EA is giving its popular Madden franchise another shot on the iPhone platform. So far EAās simulation football titles havenāt fared very well in porting over to mobile form. Although Madden NFL 10 was okay for a first attempt it failed to spark any excitement at all for sim fans such as myself. NCAA followed, and was by far one of the worst sports titles Iāve ever played for the iPhone. Gameloftās attempts havenāt done much better.

NFL 2011 (Gameloft) iPhone Impressions
By Corey Andress
With the NFL season around the corner, August is normally a time for gamers to get a taste of the pro gridiron. This year the NFL comes to us in two different forms on the iPhone platform. Gameloftās NFL 2011 and EA Sportsā Madden NFL ā11. With EA clearly being a leader when it comes to the sports genre Gameloft did the smart thing by releasing NFL 2011 a week before its big named competitor.
Gameloft secured the NFL license last year for use on the iPhone and releas...
Madden 11 iPhone Out August 10th
Today EA Sports announced that the iPhone and iPad versions of Madden 11 will be available next Tuesday, the very same day that the console versions are set to arrive. Last year's version of Madden on the iPhone was really well received so there is reason to be encouraged about this one despite NCAA Football's recent disappointing mobile offering.
Madden 11 for the iPhone, iPhone 4, iPod Touch, and iPad will feature the same āGameFlowā play calling that resides in the console versions ...
Madden 11 iPhone First Info and Screens
Though the recent NCAA Football release for iPhone got a less than cheerful response, last year Madden 10 for the mobile devices was actually rather well regarded. Hopefully that, rather than NCAA, is more of an indication as to the potential of Madden 11 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Check out the screenshot gallery for the first images!
The mobile version of Madden 11 will feature the same "GameFlow" play calling that resides in the console versions, though presumably without the ...
NCAA Football iPhone Impressions

Last September EA released Madden Football for the iPhone in hopes of giving football fans a chance to experience some NFL action on the go. After nine months, and a somewhat successful port, EA has decided to give the NCAA franchise a home on the device. Unfortunately the game is a laggy mess and an embarrassing release to accompany the console versions.
NCAA Football released last week in Appleās App Store in two different versions for the iPhone. There is a $6.99 3...
