Four Legends Coming to EA Sports UFC
Four legends will be making their way into EA Sports UFC in an update that could arrive as early as next Tuesday though the official release date has yet to be announced. Brock Lesnar, Matt Hughes, Mark Coleman, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will be added to the game.
Outside of that details from EA have been slim. It doesn't appear there will be any sort of new mode rather just these four legends to expand the current roster. They're also expected to be free though again that remains unc...
Digital Deal on EA Sports UFC
Both Microsoft and Sony are running digital game deals this week. Among them is EA Sports UFC which stands out as a fantastic value considering the circumstances.
UFC released only five months ago and a sequel isn't coming until 2016 so there's still a long time ahead where it will retain its relevance. Five patches have significantly improved the gameplay and online matches as well as added in 14 fighters to the roster.
What hasn't changed post-release is the lack of compelling conten...
Three More Fighters Added to EA Sports UFC
A fifth patch arrived today for EA Sports UFC. Unlike the previous four this one does not include any sweeping changes to gameplay or various other improvements. It's essentially just the 3 additions to the roster bringing the total fighters that have been added post-release to 14.
Myles Jury (lightweight), Yoel Romero (middleweight), and Andrei Arlovski (heavyweight) have been introduced in the latest update. They're rated 91, 89, and 89 respectively. Those numbers don't tell you much...
Fourth Patch for EA Sports UFC Out Now
The excellent post-release support for EA Sports UFC continues with the release of a fourth significant patch for the game that delivers more in the way of gameplay improvements as well as three new fighters. Details on the Next Patch Coming Soon for EA Sports UFC
A third patch for EA Sports UFC is due out soon and the company has released the details on the more major changes to expect with it. The two earlier patches, and it looks like this upcoming one, will have helped to dramatically alter the gameplay experience. At release EA UFC pleased just about no one and it showed in reviews and sales numbers. To their credit EA seems to have taken the feedback to heart and done a lot of good with the post-release support.
A video has accompanied the...
EA Sports UFC Receives New Patch and Adds Three Fighters to Roster
It may be practically dead at this point but it remains important for EA Sports to support the UFC title that launched in June. Having opened to weak sales, and dropping off the map since, the goal isn't necessarily to capture new consumers (the damage has already been done, interest waned and competition too fierce now) but display a commitment to what is hoped to be a long-running franchise.
The changes that have been made since release in now two patches demonstrates the company has ide...
Patch Released for EA Sports UFC; Three Fighters Added to Roster
A significant update was released for EA Sports UFC today that on the surface attempts to make the gameplay somewhat more realistic while also adding three fighters to the roster for free.
The patch notes mention most notably a number of adjustments to stamina and damage. That isn't going to solve concerns over value due to the lack of content offline (recent price drop can help in that regard) or that the CPU fights the same no matter who is being used and does so super-aggressively, but...
