More EA MMA Online Features Revealed
Coming out of E3 the big online related announcement for EA Sports MMA had to do with Live Broadcast. That incorporates a hype period to geting recognized and selected to participate in fights that are streamed worldwide to consoles and the web and will even involve live broadcasters calling the fights. THQ May Move Away From Releasing an Annual UFC Game
Recently THQ blamed Red Dead Redemption for the relatively poor sales of UFC Undisputed 2010 when compared to the breakout hit of UFC 2009. Thankfully it now appears that they recognize there was a lot more to why the game faltered than just competition for dollars in the marketplace. The Latest EA Sports MMA Footage
While EA Sports MMA impressed at E3 there was still a significant amount of time ahead to make further improvements incorporating feedback from those who played the game or had watched videos. THQ Blames Poor UFC Sales on RDR
Sales of UFC 2010 Undisputed have been very disappointing for THQ this year, with them having fallen 59% year-over-year for the first month. A number of factors for the tumble can be contemplated however THQ believes it is due to the release of Red Dead Redemption, which crushed with huge sales. It released one week before UFC 2010.

The first info on the career mode for EA Sports MMA was released today. While there are not a lot in the way of specifics it does lay out the path that will be taken and that a different experience will be had each time through. Last month it was reported that UFC 2010 Undisputed was selling below expectations.
