The first official day of E3 has arrived! While I will attempt to update this posting at different points throughout the day from the event floor that may prove to be a challenge. New EA Sports MMA Details Emerge
At the EA press conference earlier today it was announced making its debut in EA Sports MMA will be EA Sports Live Broadcast. Along with that they have released further details on features for the game, a new batch of screenshots, and a new trailer (which I'll have up later this evening).
Now you can have your online fight broadcast and viewed by gamers all around the world via the console or web! EA SPORTS Live Broadcast is one of the new and highly innovative online features for EA SPORTS...
The Latest Look at EA Sports MMA Footage
For a game this isn't scheduled to release for another five months or so we've been able to get a number of unprecedented opportunities to see early EA Sports MMA gameplay. With E3 only a week and a half away this is probably my most anticipated game to spend time with.
I came across a new video that includes Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and features some gameplay and quick glances at things like fighter entrances and post-fight celebrations. Considering how much time there is left in developm...
EA Sports MMA Screenshots and Additional Fighters Announced
Seven new screenshots have been released for EA Sports MMA. The new screens can be found in the gallery. In addition eight new fighters have been announced for the roster. They are Andrei Arlovski, Alistair Overeem, Lyle Beerbohm, Fabricio Werdum, Kevin Randleman, Roger Gracie, Vitor Ribiero, and Murilo "Ninja" Rua (older brother of Mauricio "Shogun" Rua). All with the exception of Rua are slated to compete at this weekend's Strikeforce event.

Reactions to the Latest EA MMA Footage
Earlier I covered the impact that the fiasco of a night for Strikeforce could ultimately have on EA Sports MMA. Along with the events of the evening, throughout the broadcast there was footage from the game shown to demonstrate what to look for prior to each fight and and a brand new trailer officially released.
Overall it appeared pretty similar to what was seen in the video a few days ago, with the takedowns looking especially good but otherwise plagued by weak striking and "floaty" movem...
Strikeforce Event Ends With a Brawl
At the conclusion of the Strikeforce event on Saturday night, Jason "Mayhem" Miller entered the cage during the post-match interview being conducted with a victorious Jake Shields. After walking up to the mic, interrupting, and asking for a rematch all hell broke loose. You can check out a video of the brawl after the break along with thoughts on what this could mean for the promotion and EA Sports MMA.

New EA Sports MMA Screenshots
EA Sports continues to take advantage of the Strikeforce events by releasing media around each one and promoting the game during the broadcasts. Airing on CBS Saturday night is a triple-header of championship fights headlined by Dan Henderson vs Jake Shields. In conjunction with the event eight new screenshots for EA Sports MMA featuring the fighters that will be in action have been released and can be viewed in the gallery.
