    Though presentation improvements for NCAA Football 14 have yet to be officially discussed a couple significant nuggets have been discovered through a Game Informer preview - a magazine scan of which is being hosted on Operation Sports. NCAA 14 will include a halftime show and a more streamlined interface throughout the product.   • Court Extends Claims Period for EA Football Pricing Settlement

    Notice today was sent out that the claims period for the class action settlement in regards to the pricing of football products has now been extended to May 15. The original cut-off was March 5 but is now being pushed out due to a lower than anticipated number of claims having been made. Those who have already filed do not need to do anything new because of this. The difference will be a much higher dollar amount in return than was previously documented.  (more…)...

    Last week EA Sports offered the first look at NCAA Football 14 and provided some details on what to expect in the way of improvements and additions. Walmart is offering an exclusive "Oakland Raiders Franchise Pack" which presumably (unless there's a new mode to reveal or ties into Connected Careers) relates to Ultimate Team.     With a hearing in June regarding class-action status, and a trial tentatively slated to begin a year later, news on the lawsuit against the NCAA, CLC, and EA will likely become more frequent going forward than has been the case until now. A few happenings from the last week include the USC AD going on record with the belief the NCAA may lose the case and the CLC and EA providing evidence they have not used accurate player likenesses in video games.
