    Over at Tradition Sports Online the full team ratings for NCAA Football 14 have been posted. Yesterday the site listed the top 15 rated players and now every program has their overall, offense, and defense ratings to review and digest. Alabama tops out with a 99 rating in all three categories. They're followed by Oregon and Ohio State at 95 and close behind Virginia Tech, Texas, Notre Dame, LSU, and Clemson at 93.     Time to clean up on some of the other news to break since the start of E3 which includes word from Cam Weber that Madden NFL 25 on Xbox One and PS4 will be fully featured and EA denying having placed any pressure on Microsoft or Sony to institute severe DRM restrictions and reiterating they got rid of the Online Pass for unrelated reasons.  (more…)...

    Here are some basic impressions from the first day being on the show floor of E3 which featured prominently the upcoming EA Sports games. The company shut down any recording of the games at their booth so unlike past years the number of videos and images coming out will be limited.     Tradition Sports Online has gathered the top 15 rated players for NCAA Football 14. Leading the way is the odds-on favorite to be the #1 pick in the NFL Draft next year South Carolina defensive end #7 (Jadeveon Clowney) with a 99 rating. Coming off the Heisman winning season Texas A&M quarterback #2 (Johnny Manziel) is joined by four others rated 97 overall.     EA Sports has provided more insight on what to expect from the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Madden NFL 25 launching in November alongside the new systems. Earlier today they discussed improvements to line play and Adrian Peterson as the cover athlete then showing off a trailer but the details now provided are much more substantial.     The Electronic Arts press conference has just wrapped up and the company showcased games like Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Titanfall, Need for Speed Rivals, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mirrors Edge 2, and Battlefield 4.     With a ton of footage from NCAA Football 14 expected out of E3 next week EA Sports has released the first look at the game in action through directly-captured video. It is very limited - running just one minute and skipping post-play scenes - and features LSU at Texas A&M.
