Madden NFL 25 Roster Update for Start of Regular Season Out Now
EA Sports yesterday released the second roster update for Madden NFL 25. This one is largely shaped by the rosters being trimmed down to final 53s in preparation for week one of the NFL season but also includes some ratings adjustments. Sales of Madden Take Dramatic Tumble in Opening Week as Next-Gen Looms
While EA Sports expected sales of Madden NFL 25 to fall short of those for Madden NFL 13 they did not anticipate the dramatic 37% drop that it turned out to be. Madden NFL 25 sold just over 1 million copies its first week on the market. Madden NFL 25: Hits and Misses
Madden NFL 25 released without any truly defined expectations. With an anniversary year being heavily promoted it stood to reason that EA Sports would pour resources into the game - releasing at the tail end of the current generation where it peaked in the last - and realize the benefits of having rebuilt eight years ago and overcoming some of those struggles as of late. Possible Workarounds for Freezing Issues in Madden NFL 25
Though not widespread there are a number of consumers experiencing freezing issues in Madden NFL 25. A thread with well over 200 replies on the official EA forum documents the problems and potential temporary solutions. What seems to be working for those unable to even reach the main menu involves avoiding the connection made to the EA servers on initial boot-up. Early Deal on Madden NFL 25 Is Great For Those Moving From 360 to Xbox One
In a surprise move yesterday Amazon added a $10 promo credit to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 copies of Madden NFL 25 (excluding the Anniversary Edition) for both ongoing sales and consumers who pre-ordered. Elsewhere NewEgg via Ebay had copies going for $45 but their supply was run through fairly quickly. Costco meanwhile is selling the game for $55. As was the case with NCAA Football 14 it's likely some retailers will drop the price temporarily on Madden even lower within the next week or two...

The first roster update for Madden NFL 25 arrived today with its main purpose to execute personnel moves, shuffle the depth charts, and reflect injuries since the original set was locked down about six weeks ago.
