Differences in Xbox One and PS4 Versions of Madden NFL 25 and NBA 2K14
One of the most common questions out there relating to the Xbox One and PS4 is whether there are any differences in multi-platform games. As far as sports games go on a technical level there shouldn't be - they are running at the same resolution and framerate - but that doesn't mean they are exactly the same. Next-Gen Madden NFL 25: Hits and Misses
Madden NFL 25 was a disappointment on the Xbox 360 and PS3 but the arrival of the Xbox One and PS4 brings promise of a fully featured product with improved gameplay and atmosphere. That would certainly represent a much better entry situation than how the previous generation was welcomed in and for the most part EA Sports has achieved that goal. Now The NCAA is Suing EA
Electronic Arts' legal troubles relating to the alleged use of player likenesses in college football and basketball video games did not come to an end with the settlement in the Ed O'Bannon led lawsuit. The NCAA is now challenging the company, along with the CLC, regarding the $40 million settlement they reached in late September. (more…)...

Early Impressions of Next-Gen NBA 2K14, Madden NFL 25, and FIFA 14
While more detailed write-ups will be done in the near future here are brief initial assessments of the three launch day sports games on the PS4 that will also be out for Xbox One this week. Rare is the occasion where several sports games are released on the same day so time with them has been split evenly thus far.
