Sports Games Desperately Need Alternative Online Experiences
In a recent Press Row Podcast episode I proposed the idea again that MLB: The Show, which has struggled mightily with online performance and stability since inception, should offer an "Extra Innings" mode online. Final Madden NFL 15 Roster Update Details
The 21st and final roster update for Madden NFL 15 is available now on all systems. This update follows the completion of the season with the Patriots winning the Super Bowl over the Seahawks in dramatic fashion. Madden NFL 15: Super Bowl Edition Offers Discount and Ultimate Team Bonuses
EA Sports today released a "Super Bowl Edition" of Madden NFL 15 as a digital download on Xbox One. The game is being offered for $24 to Xbox Gold subscribers and $60 to those without it. Mutant Football League Still in Development
Work has continued on the return of Mutant Football League despite an unsuccessful crowd-funding campaign in 2013. Three Sports Games Finish in Top Ten Sales for 2014
With NPD reports in for December the entirety of 2014 can be analyzed and three sports games finished in the top ten of sales for the year. The three in question are regulars when rounding up the best-sellers annually. Madden NFL 15 finished as the second biggest seller in 2014. Only Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was able to top it.
