    After revealing the top rated rookies yesterday, EA Sports has turned attention to the returning players of the league in what appears to be the start of 22 straight (week) days in which ratings will be rolled out for Madden NFL 16. Today the focus is on the top rated running backs. Leading the way is Marshawn Lynch with an Overall Rating of 96.     Even when selected #1, quarterbacks aren't always the top rated players of their class when entering Madden. The learning curve, and potential that they may sit to begin their career, means positions like offensive tackle and wide receiver get an edge in early ratings.     The Madden NFL 16 videos to come out of E3 really haven't showcased much new in regards to presentation. A few small things were identified, like augmented reality elements, and active cameramen. Otherwise the game has looked fairly similar to years' past, with practically the same commentary, poor replay angles, and the lack of a true in-game score ticker.     Amazon recently began offering discounts on select upcoming video games to members of Amazon Prime. The initial group included next week's Rory McIlroy PGA Tour and this fall's Call of Duty: Black Ops III for $50. Madden NFL 16 is the latest game added to be added to the promotion.     Earlier this week I took a closer look at some gameplay footage of Madden NFL 16, pulling out relevant clips and attempting to identify what the game has added or improved upon and what might still need some work at this stage of development.
