    EA Sports promised a "renewed focus on Franchise mode" for Madden NFL 17 and today the company revealed just what improvements and additions have been made.     Earlier today the new Madden NFL 17 commentary team of Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis was announced. Now EA Sports has released a video featuring some of their announcing work with the game. Additionally, other improvements to presentation have been detailed, including pylon cams, multi-cam, and the increased presence of coaches.     After four years of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms it was definitely time for a shake-up to the announcer team in the Madden NFL series. The CBS duo is out and taking their place for Madden NFL 17 are Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis. Gaudin is known for his play-by-play work in college basketball with Georgia Tech and during the NCAA Tournament.     While it's inevitable that people will find exploits or elements of gameplay in sports titles that are used to unnatural advantage when playing others, more work has probably been done with Madden NFL 17 to combat than than was seen with the series in the past.     Despite the importance of special teams in football it has never received the attention it deserved in the Madden series. That looks to finally be changing with Madden NFL 17 and further details have been released on what to expect. While unfortunately it looks like surprise onside kicks have been left out yet again, and the return blocking hasn't been worked on, there's a lot to be excited about for what had been largely mundane waste-of-time plays in the video games having failed ...
