Via EA's producer blogs comes a new video Madden 08 video. In Ian Cummings' entry today is a focused look at the gang tackling. Videos can't show the game changing difference this technology has made for us (and for you all). I tried to get a really good 4 man one, but only got ones where the defender fell backwards at first. This isn't always the case, but it was the best I could do with the time…getting a "true" 4 man pileup proved kind of difficult. Despite the disclaimer he makes about it ...
  • A new (even more ridiculous) APF stadium screenshot

Another screen from All-Pro Football 2K8 has found its way out. It features one more in the line of over-the-top stadiums. This one is for the team called the Beasts. Click the thumbnail below to see the full size image. Okay...so seriously this beyond ridiculous now. That is really the only word I can think of to describe it, ridiculous. It was bad enough the giant bird. It was bad enough giant scorpions, rhinos, and beehives. It was even worse the offensive Indians team and stadium. Eve...

Gamespot has posted the first details coming out on NCAA Football 08's Dynasty mode. The first screens of the mode were released yesterday and can be viewed here. Among the highlights: -New way to search for specific prospects based on the parameters you enter in. -The pitching process used to try and gain recruits is critical. There are different types of pitches available such as "find pitch" (to figure out what works), "hard sell pitch" (to push the issue), "sway" (try to convince)...
  • Notes after viewing the four new NCAA Football 08 videos

IGN has added four new videos for NCAA Football 08 and you can access them by clicking here. One is a play being challenged and the other three are big pass completions. I took a few notes while watching: -I hope that challenging a play can be done in an easier manner than was displayed (going into the pause menu). An effort has been made by companies producing sports titles over the past couple years to eliminate the need for pausing the game to access different options which has been a...

  • All-Pro Football 2K8 feature list

Amongst the barrage of screenshots from today and yesterday, 2K Sports has also revealed the full feature list for the game. You can check it out by clicking below into the full article. Overall the list of things, especially the customization aspects, sound good. After seeing the success of Forza 2 in that regard, the potential is clearly there to a huge aspect of games in the future. However it is too early to know if the options will be nearly as vast as those in Forza and it seems unl...
  • More All-Pro Football 2K8 screens released

2K Sports has released another batch of screenshots for APF 2K8. Click the thumbnails below for the full size images. For the most part these look a little better than the first ones that were released yesterday. The best one is the action shot of the RB however with the blurred background it allows for the enhancement of what is seen up close. I also feel that the one showing the the action around the pocket looks better than the rest. Viewing actual gameplay fo...
